Most of my access was through the wheel well. Having no air tubes will certainly help. Although I love your suspension, I'm glad I didn't have to work around it :)
I picked up another third member & the Truetrac is installed. The 913A610 is the correct one for our 4runners. I have not driven it yet because the 3rd member I picked up was from a 4wd & uses bolts on the pinion flange & mine was originally a 2wd & had studs. Guess who doesn't have the bolts...
This was a 2wd cream puff, no evidence it was ever abused. The tooth was laying in the bottom & by all appearances it's been like this a long time.

I pulled my third member to install a Truetrac & was surprised to find a tooth missing on the ring gear. The runner drove excellent, no clue I had a problem.
I've seen pics of others with broken factory gears, are the factory gears prone to failure?

If you search "truetrac" in this forum by title you'll find a few that have installed the 610 & you'll also find at least one that didn't like the truetrac in the front.
