I agree, I guess I didn't expressed myself in the most efficient way because It's not a struggle, you know why ? Because I'd do it all over again, my rig has taken us from our home in Central Florida to NY City once and then to SD with stops in between in each trip. They last for ever!!!

It is a struggle. I drive 80 miles a day back & forth to work at 16.5 MPG, filling the tank up every 4 days.
