This! I started doing this a few years ago and it makes a huge difference! It seems strange at first, but you quickly get used to it and then it seems wrong to not have the mirrors like this (i.e. you drive someone elses car) It also makes it great at night so you don't have 3 mirrors...

You dont even have to remove the emblems from the vehicle when you Plasti-Dip. Just mask off the area with a rectangle. And spray. The Plasti-dip will come right off the paint, but stay on the emblem. People have been doing this for quite a while. You can even Plasti-Dip Wheels! I just did...
