I just replaced mine when I did my body lift as it was pretty bad looking. I went with OEM and it comes with the rag joint assembled on the piece that slides on the rack. List was around $90 I think and I got it for like $60 if I remember correctly.

You are right I stand corrected. Not sure what I was thinking when I typed that. The wire colors are universal and the deck will come with its correct plug already so you can just splice the deck wiring and the jumper harness together by matching up colors without having to cut into your factory...

The plug in the deck? Yes they are universal unless you are talking about something I never seen....they also use the same color wiring across the board. These plug and play harnesses are the same on deck side but different on the car wiring side.

All aftermarket decks use the same connector so you should just unplug the single din and plug it into the double din.

That's what I have but you do realize that it's a lot shorter in overall length and you will need to adapt it to your stock exhaust right? It doesn't just bolt up. The stock muffler is a monster compared to a flowmaster or other similar performance brand mufflers on the market.

Mine is a 96 and the pipe was 2 1/4", probably still the same in 02 but maybe someone else can chime in. I love flowmasters but the 40 series has some nasty drone at cruising speeds, it might not bother you but after years of listening to it in different vehicles I am over it and go with a 50...

You're replacing them anyways so hit them right on the face of the rotor towards the truck not out away. This usually is enough to break their rusty hold. Sometimes you have to hit them so hard that the rotor surface and the hat break into two pieces, at that point they slide right off.
