I have something similar. It comes and goes and has been happening for probably a few years at least. I've never seriously tried to figure out where it was coming from though since I can't always replicate it. Would love to see if you find a solution/source though.

I'm thinking about getting a Magnaflow system for my 1999 4Runner with dual exhausts going straight back by my trailer hitch. What size/diameter are your tips? I'm trying to decide between 3" and 3.5".

Any word on those videos? I'm trying to make a decision pretty soon between Flowmaster and Magnaflow and I was hoping I could hear what yours sounds like.

How was the install and ordering of your system? I'm looking to get a Flowmaster exhaust system on my 1999 4Runner, but when I look up the car on Flowmaster's site, it only gives the Tacoma as a vehicle that works with it. Did you have to do any modifications to it when you got it? Thanks in...
