Do I need a More Powerful Battery? will this affect battery life?

Off Topic - Hey Leftyguns the quote in your sig is not from Abraham Lincoln. It is often mistakenly attributed to Abe. On Topic - No need to upgrade the battery based on what you've outlined for your needs. The stock Panasonic battery is excellent.

Walker Evans coilovers vs.... everything else

I do not have 1st hand experience but I've heard Walker's have a tendency to need to be rebuilt often. If it were me and I wanted remote reservoir shocks I would lean toward Icon. If you don't need remote reservoir I'd go with Sway-a-Way (SAW) or ICON. HTH

TRIMMING and getting ready for the 285/70/17's

Your 285/70-17 tires are roughly equivalent to a 33" tire. A 265/70-17 is just shy of a 32" tire. It doesn't sound like much on the internet, but it real lift the 285 is noticeably bigger, hence the need for the trimming. HTH

    Nitto Terra Grappler 265/70R17 PSI?

36 PSI seems to be a good balance between ride comfort and MPG. I've been runing them this way for 40,000+ miles with no issues.

    SAW vs Icon vs Toyotec

Major difference between SAW / ICON and Toytec is the SAW / ICONs are rebuildable. I've been very happy with my SAWs.
