Are you running the LED or HID lowbeams? What color temp?

Which RAM part number did you use for the mount. I was going to do the diamond mount (2 hole) but a single would be cleaner.

How did you get that trim piece off? Did you have to remove the whole stereo and the lower HVAC control piece too? I've seen the instructions for how to remove all that when replacing the stereo, but I'm hoping there's a way to just pull that trim piece on its own for installing the mount.

Interesting thought about something upstream is causing the failures. FWIW this affects the 200 series Land Cruiser as well. I replaced them on 3 out of 4 doors on my 2013 200 and there are a decent number of other folks with the same issue.
