I'm a "maybe" at this point as well because I'm in Sacramento for work on the 12th -- 15th. If the return trip goes smoothly I'm in... Getting SS 7.2 installed and some other misc. maintenance done at the Truck Shop today, so I'd like the opportunity for a little shake down run, too. md

I'm VERY interested in running the Mojave Rd. I'm not sure yet whether I can make this particular weekend work or not, but if I can, I'm all over it; sounds like an awesome trip. md

I had some work done at SD Truck Shop and they were reasonable; I'd use them again.

I would LOVE to do this run but there is no way I can get away from work. If the Ocotillo run you mention is later in the fall I'd join. Have fun everybody!

What about Saddleback/Santiago Peak? I was on it last Nov. and it was very tame. I think Trabuco connects if the gate is open, we went in & out from Hwy 74 to the south.

When I bought my old '85 it had been in a field for two years and was full of spiders/black widows. I parked in the garage with windows down and tailgate down and set off four bug bombs in me garage! Somebody told me you can blow up a garage that way (afterwards!) but I had no problems. Didn't...
