The seam sealer on the drip rail is cracking letting water in between that and the body. The drip rail is just spot welded on most of the way to the roof.

I have one that i removed from mine. It is in good condition but 2.5 hrs away.

The factory plug is taped up behind the radio and ash tray.

Check the clamp on the leaf spring and make sure bolt head is toward the inside. Some people have had the threaded end contact gas tank skid.

Rear window track The track of a 2nd gen 4runner will work on a 1st gen if you find one.

Ac I added one years ago wasn't to bad. The three holes in firewall already have a dimple for location. Just try and get all parts from same year and options as yours because was several different wiring harness and ac cards used.

Radiator I bought an aluminum one from Shepard auto parts, I'm happy with it.

front dif removal When you remove the nuts holding the front half-shafts, take a punch and knock the studs out. This will make removal easier. Then it is only 3 bolts other than the drive shaft bolts to remove the front differential. Hope this helps!

Have one on a 2001 4runner had to use floor jack to align side brackets.
