That should work :) Where on the Toytec site do you find parts for the GX? I know most of it is just 4Runner stuff - but how did you find the Metal Tech conversion stuff there?

Yep - I think the 4th gen Runner has the perfect wheelbase for most places. It's right in the middle of the FJ and the Tacoma. I do have the shortbed though, which comes in at 128" wheelbase - yet I was still getting stuck on the hills. Just shows how much difference the 18" makes. The...

It was a fun time. The muck made it very interesting for sure. And PD - you would have been able to easily do the trails we did, with no threat of damage, except for Palmetto (I chose to skip that one for the same reasons :)). Your tires would have walked you right up Trail 28 much easier...

The FJs just used the Atrac with rear lockers. A little strategic placement of some rocks, and you'll walk right up :) The first Tacoma was open/open with bald 31" Duratracs. He had to back out.

Looks like less than a tenth of an inch precip at Gulches on Friday, so we should be fine.

Keep in mind the 17th is a Sunday though. The 16th is a big event at Gulches and will be packed. We're hoping the crowd is gone on Sunday.

The contingency for myself and Brian is to hit Richland Rd if the Gulches is called off this week. Several other NCFJ guys are also planning to hit that too. However, it's dependent on if it snows. If not enough snow, we're just gonna wait till the Gulches ride we have planned for 2/17 -...
