    What's your top speed?

Top Speed Amen Cory! Last I checked we are all old enough, albeit maybe not wise enough to drive at high speeds. That said, touching triple digits is such common place in the south that fellow 4Runner owners talk like IF YOU DO, you will be damned to hell for the simple thought of it! My...

    Small convertibles, choosing

S2000 all the way-from an owner who shopped and shopped for what you are looking for. You can pick up an '06 with VSC ('05s didn't have it + the '06s have headrest speakers) for <$30K. I can't say enough positive things about them. Check out www.s2ki.com

    New Pic of 07 Tundra!

Scary--it sounds like you are talking from first-hand experience! I'm a loyal Toyota owner & past Tundra owner. I prefer it when they copy "our" look, not the other way around. I'm sure the final product will be nice. :)

    In-dash or portable nav?

The Garmin 2730 has mp3 capability also and is more "tough" than the Nuvi--but costs a lot more and is physically much larger. I have both the 2720 (similar to the 2730, but has no MP3) and the Nuvi350. I love them both, but if I was to choose one, I'd say the Nuvi is more versatile overall.

    In-dash or portable nav?

The Nuvi I have mounts cleanly on a supplied disk on the cubby-door beneath our hvac controls. It has a good antenna, so it pics up satelites there just fine. I have yet to take a pic of it mounted...

    does my warranty cover this?

My dealership will do something about 1 year/12,000 miles on brakes or later if they fixed them previously. Agree with above posters that they are wear items, and usually not covered unless defective from factory.

    In-dash or portable nav?

Garmin Nuvi 350! Can be had for about $680. Its worth the extra $$--built in speaker/battery & the size is about that of a deck of cards.

Diversity antenna- reception fix for aftermarket hu

You really can save some time and $$ and just splice the small antenna into one of the female-Y arms. Granted that isn't as clean, but it should work fine.

Diversity antenna- reception fix for aftermarket hu

Sorry, I couldn't locate the plug wrapper this weekend. Trash went to the curb last week and it must've been with it. There IS an size-up adapter available. Try calling a few of those places that sell those METRA parts and tell them what you need. That was how I got the part. It isn't the...

Diversity antenna- reception fix for aftermarket hu

I think it was the Metra 40-FD10. I'll see if I can find it in the trash tonight....

Diversity antenna- reception fix for aftermarket hu

http://www.audiooutfitter.com/store/40-UV43.html for the Y adapter. The other part was purchased here too. It was something for a ford to aftermarket antenna plug (I think). I tossed the package after installing it-sorry! You could always splice the smaller one to one of the arms of the Y too.

    Great Stereo Set-up Adjustment Guide

Thanks for the kudos. I love being able to find stuff like this on the internet. Makes the 80's feel like the dark ages when it comes to information sharing.
