Small update on the grill! Clicky this to see it 1/2 done and painted. edit Rev 2.0 more mesh :P going mesh crazy and painted all the white that was visible, and plasti dippd the two trim pieces, now I might just plasti dip the entire grill.

Yea the bullbar/guard was a kick-jeep deal. I auctually found it in the chevy section and I was like hmm.. that looks like it should fit the contours of my 4runner perfectly... the rusted up bumper that was attached turned out to by off of a sr5 grey 4runner some 200 feet away. I lucked out ;)...

Cool thanks for the info on the guard. I'm now working on the satoshi grill mod... with a twist. :jump: Also finished deckplate mod 4" no pics as you all know what it looks like. Still have to get the guard painted.

It wont, it wouldve been usefull if you wanted IDBONS (my sister is not allowed in my car, or my friend jake, or my brother, or my girlfriend. They invented IDBONS) The dash removal is EASY, i think you did it with your cupholder mod, just be careful not to ruin the holding clips in the shifter...

** EDIT** I forgot to answer you question; No if you jump off of the stereos 12v it will not affect your doohickey just makesure that you are making a nice connection and electronic tape to seal it up nice, you might get dimming on your doohickey if you blast music really loudly, but I doubt it...

Any chance on getting the source/code for the shifters program? also I'm confused on how it works, do you just piggy back off of existing wires in the vehicle? or did you have to wire in leads from your little shifter box.
