Even when I lift it ? Others have told me that I want have enough power with it lifted.

I have an 86 runner with the 2.2 motor and independent suspension front. I want to lift it and be able to go up trails and stuff like that. should and/or can I change the Front end and upgrade the motor to a bigger one or can I still use the 2.2 and do some thing to give me the power I need?

Im in the saltlake area. Id be way happy to get with other runners to learn work and play with out toys.
