I contacted xenendepot about running HIDS of the High beams. They said that they didn't recommend HIDS for the high beams because they would be running at all times and would to bright and blind oncoming traffic. They also said that the DRL function would be disabled. You can PM me you email...

I bought this exact kit from them and payed extra for the slimmer ballast and power harness with a fuse. I highly recommend it.

I agree. The new Taco look great. I have a 2012 Tacoma and a 2014 4runner Trail. Love them both. A truck is always needed.

Im guessing its like a 8k bulb they are running. A cheap fix would be replacing the bulbs for some other cheap ones and going with a lower number like a 6k. But I agree with everyone else Id ditch it and go with xenon depot. Those guys are good. :thumb:

Just installed my headlight HIDs with the harness. Install was very simple not as hard as it seems. Now waiting on fogs and the Hi/low-beams to get here. lots of great info. Thanks guys!

Id say remove the bumper and get everything fitting correctly. I just order HIDs for my Hi-Beam/DRL, Lo-Beam, and Fogs. Lets see how it works out. I read some vehicles need some kind of harness to prevent flickering or warning lights on the dash. For example this...
