I use Flickr. No loss of quality. You can set it down to private if you don't want all your stuff out in the open.

I just recently, within the past 8 months, started shooting RAW and now I'm almost afraid to go back. Same goes for Manual mode. By forcing myself to use it, it's almost like my camera has reinvented itself. I shot that would normally be toast as a JPEG can most of the time be brought to life...

This is true. $130 is steep, esp for an aux, but it is a fantastic little tripod. You can easily find decent tripods for half that, just be sure and read lots of reviews. Depending on what you are wanting to use the tripod for, you may not even need a full blown model. Don't forget craigslist...
