For the price he paid for it, he shouldn't need to buy any additional parts on his own. Besides, if he's missing the welded nut it'll be a pain to mount it.

Those are 4 ohm speakers and the factory ones are 2 ohm. Did you notice a significant decrease in volume? Thanks!

It doesn't make sense as a safety feature. The vehicle knows if the key is inside or not and as soon as you touch the brakes to get it out of Park it should shut off. That's how my wife's Ford Escape works. Shame that Toyota can't figure it out or doesn't care to. Sent from my moto z3 using...
