If your budget is in the mid 30s, to spend the additional $10,000 or so makes sense to me. I get not wanting to do so, but to have 60-70,000 less miles, warranty, etc…. And consider the Lexus GX which shares the same platform.

I agree with the last posts. Getting rid of the ethanol is the thing I would guess would make a difference. When I lived in coastal Oregon, I often did use 100% gasoline as the difference in price was not too bad.
