I have a 14 ltd - exhaust out the back, and a 23 trd pro exhaust out the side.....the 14 is worse, but we still get exhaust gases when the rear window is down..... open the sunroof / windows - that helps a bit

you realize you can still get the original filter ---- its a lexus part #17801-38051 just toss that part # into google search ---- and you can order an OEM Lexus air filter for a gx that is the same as the old 4runner filter before they replaced it with the skinny one. i ordered one about 6...

I was going to call this out --- it happened to me a few years ago. I was about ready to go to the dealer and I got a similar heads up from a buddy on this forum! Better to ask - than go to the dealer and have them tell you to replace the tail gate and switch ---- hahaha
