I don't know exactly how the sound was produced. I never found any metal to metal contact or signs of it. The original bushings were still torqued to spec and did not have any visible signs of issues (no tears or gaps) but they were original.

You won't be able to get all of the oil out when doing an oil change, plan on about .5qt being stuck somewhere in the system that you cannot get out. I've never needed more than one 5qt container to properly refill mine.
Thanks as long as those aren't the white clips that hold the door panel to the door that's it. I can't tell if they are showing multiple clips because they are the inner ones which are used all around the door to hold the panel in place, or it's the one larger black clip.
