Drove it to work and smoke started coming out of the lower dash near ash tray location!?! right rear speaker started making an odd noise as well, checked speaker terminals still in place not contacting anything....
Anyone ever have the factory stereo burn up?
Installed front speakers and found a surprise!

Hey! About the only thing that could leak back there if it is only brake fluid is the "drum brake wheel cylinder" peel that little rubber boot back if there is fluid inside replace that little brake wheel cylinder clean it all up, bleed the brakes and id probably go from there.
Using the ash tray location for installing cb radio so decided hey ill relocate the light so.....Illuminated cup holder ooohhhh ahhhhh for whatever reason it looks extremely bright its not that bright and isnt distracting at all while driving, comes in handy.
Finally installed my junkyard find!
Installed and alignment
The old shot,bouncy leftovers :bounce:
Not a bad junkyard lift for $100 and half a days work. Amazed with the ride waaaay better than the stock setup. Didn't measure the lift before and after but gained about 1.5 - 2 inches...
Drove it to do some junk yard diving!
- Scored -
OME 890 Coils - $20 :bounce:
Had front coils and OME shocks all the way around, the rear shocks compressed okay just a little skeptical. May have to go back and get the front coils!
