How do you check to see if the car is in recirculation mode? I'm replacing a rusted header soon and I think the ECU needs to be reset because of the oxygen sensor so I want to make sure I can get that setting right each time.

I believe it is the original radiator. There don't seem to be any signs of failure though, what should I look for? Also how would I know if I need the water pump replaced?
