So i went ahead and got the Volant CAI. Got it in this weekend. WOW what a difference. I have a stock v8, no exhaust (yet) and this sounds amazing, and i think i feel a little more kick when i need to power. further testing is needed to see if it helps our MPG averages. I get about 22 maybe 23...

I have a v8 2003 (4th gen). I may go with this volant. I may also tinker with a way to DIY it to have some ram air on that. I think ram air here would really do some good to the intakes.

Correct me if im wrong. Basically, the deckplate mode is an added hole, but one you can close off for off roading, and maybe california emission checks.

From what i read, looks like the 63- series has more HP than the 77- series. Not sure why. I love the look of the aluminum piping over the plastic. But i like more HP, and the cheaper costs.

so silly question, how hard is it to get all this apart to solder in the $2 bulb? Half of my 03 clock/temp/cooling/heating display is dead. just half though. I assume there are a few bulbs since its a bigger panel.

So maybe they just warp easily? or maybe is from off roading and hitting that stream crossing? Yes, the lighter braking is more noticeable. Rotors were my first guess.
