I actually bought it for the seating space. My Trail didn't have a third row, and I found the third rows in the Ltd.s too tight. This fits my family like a glove...and it rocks offroad.

FYI: "topped off" means I didn't fill the tank, I just added enough to fill it to the top. It required 3.918 gallons to do so. I travelled 79 miles between the tank being full and it requiring 3.918 gallons to be full again. I don't know another way to explain it.

Correction, I just topped off. Hand calculated 20.16 mpg over 74 miles and 5 city miles. The best I ever calculated on the Trail was 16.67 mpg, all hwy.

Thanks, I'm real happy with how this all turned out. As much as I loved my Trail, this is a much better solution for a family of five. The best part? I got 21 mpg highway yesterday, which beats the best I got with the pretty much stock Trail by 3mpg!!! That's after lift and tires and comes with...

I took out the bits about removing add-ons per your advice. I wasn't sure it was a good idea in the first place. I think I'll let the asking price ride for a bit and see what happens. As for the '11 vs. '12, I bought it in 2012 so the warranty is good for another 18 months or 25K miles. But...

That's possibly true. If you check out the Rover forums, however, you'll find people who've owned these things without complaint. And they are in a class of their own - extremely capable off road right out of the box, amazing fit-and-finish, real-life adults can actually sit in the 3rd row...
