So the coolant level was low. The overflow reservoir was empty in the 1.5 miles from autoparts store to home last night. Topped up both. Now, to find the leak.

Thanks AuSeeker. The overflow was basically empty. I added fluid last night on my way home but have not checked the radiator cold yet. That'll happen this afternoon. Issue: Gets hot (needle all the way to H) but does come back down when the RPMs come up.

Temps are bouncing between hot and normal. Looking for suggestions on where to start: Thermostat? Water pump? Other?

Replaced the spare tire hoist with a chain version from ebay. Getting the old one out was a little rough and in retrospect, may have not been needed after it was all said and done. Fail point seemed like it was where the stainless cable entered the housing. Could be wrong. Thing wouldnt budget...

Looking to add some LED lighting for the foot wells. Not on all the time. Would be great if on with dome lights, but would like it to be switched? Would be easier to find dropped items at night. Links if you have them. TIA

So, I've got remote resi kings up front on my 2007 v8 limited (no KDSS). One of the springs is broke (low down, it's been broke awhile and isnt an emerging issue) but it's time to do something about it before winter (Wisco). Do I replace the spring only? King says I dont have to do both sides...
