Yeah I was kicking myself for forgetting the crush washer. I should have just stuck the plug in and then turned the engine off and waited a few minutes and then pulled it back out and replaced the crush washer then.

I just did a drain and fill and when I pulled the overflow plug it drained out the excess like it should. As it got to a trickle I was about to put the plug back in and realized I forgot to grab the new crush washer so I quick ran and got it and when I came back there was no more coming out...

Did he use different gaskets than the one supplied by DT?
