Ok so i need some help i have an 88 4runner that wont charge even though it says its charging.. i can fully charge the battery on a battery charger and it will start and run fine put my multi meter on it says its charging. But it still sputters and dies than it acts like the battery is dead says...

i need some help i have an 88 with the 2.4 22re i was trying to replace the fuel pump and ended up breaking off one the the fuel nipples that come out of the tank. I can't find a new one anywhere not on line or any parts store. i can find them for the pickups but not the 4runner they look...

I have a 88 4runner and im wondering would the 22re out of a 91 be the same as the one in my 88? Any parts i would need to switch over?

ok thank you for the information so now i have a little direction lol i can start saving how hard is it to rebuild a 22re can someone who has never done it before pull it off if so are there any cant do it with out tools other than a torque wrench.

So i picked up a 88 4runner but the engine is locked up. The head or head gasket went out on it and it was parked for 7ish years with water and coolant in the oil pan and i have a few questions. I want to keep cost down and it will mainly be used for going to work in the snow and maybe so light...

got to love the grandpa cars that have been well maintained but hardly driven used to love getting the im at the dealer ship when i was detailing cars congrats on the great find

ok that make since why when i pushed the window up with my hands i got hit with the wiper lol so i will keep messing with it to see if i can get it working again. the truck has 300k on it but the odometer stopped at 200k lol
