Mine gets coated in mud & dust every time it is driven and it disappears, for a while. When God cleans it with rain I get to do it all over again.

I bought Budbuilt and my 'beefy' bumpout sliders cleverly avoided the XREAS lines. You have to pay for professional engineering IMHO.

FWIW I too experience exhaust smells even with all windows up and the vents on recirc; it is me, myself and I. Fortunately, I usually drive alone.

I live in the wilderness and beat the crap out of my BudBuilt skids, fenders and sliders and all still protect my '13 LTD. Engineered to perform and last. IMHO Bud knows what he is doing.

I turn up the radio volume.

Take it out for a ride and get it dirty, lots of mud and maybe some dead stuff so it smells bad. Let God wash it when it rains. Works for me and the HD muddy Budbuilt bumpout sliders..

My 2013 LTD rig with complete Budbuilt armor is at 5960# unloaded including my fat ass and a full tank of gas here in the AZ mountains. With Traxda lift it does well, now on new Toyo RT's.
