    Snow in October?!

My truck does have the Dunlops. I was a little afraid from what I had read on this forum but they performed fine as far as I could tell. The snow this morning was heavy, wet and deep. From my experience, that isn't the hardest snow to drive through. I'll really see how these tires perform...

    Snow in October?!

Reporting live from Buffalo, NY: We got close to two feet of snow last night (with thunder and lighting) and it is causing some serious problems around here. Becasue the snow was very heavy and all the trees still had most of thier leaves, tons of powerlines are down and huge fallen limbs are...

What kind of supplies do you guys keep in the rig?

Judging from some of these responses, someone should start a "What kind of gun do you keep in your 4Runner?" thread. It would be interesting to see how much fire power this forum has...you know, just in case another forum starts talking sh*t. :biggrin2:

How much is everybody Paying to LEASE their 4runner?

Re: Leasing I just wanted to elobortate on the credit score comment by Jeff. The money factor (interest rate) is set by the finance company every month (usually Toyota) and the dealer uses that number during preliminary lease negotiations. At that point, the biggest factor that moves the...

    New 4Runner Owner

I just wanted to introduce everyone to my new 4Runner. This is my first SUV, but I've loved the 4Runner for years. Just finished putting the first coat of Liquid Glass on it:

How much is everybody Paying to LEASE their 4runner?

I am paying $329/month for my 2006 SE 4x4 V6. The truck stickered for $34,811 and I got the dealer down to $500 above invoice. The adjusted cap cost was $31,810. The only money I paid up front was the tax, title, etc. Taxes were a killer at 8.75% though. Guess that's what I get for living...

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

Sorry, I should have qualified my statement by saying it was a lease so it didn't qualify for the rebate. It did have a .00022 money factor which works out to about .5%. I paying $328 per month for 36 months with no money down. Not a bad deal I think.

Air Conditioner & heating for 2006 model year

I think the 4 Runner's AC cools the car quicker than my Acura TL. Although one of the big reasons may be that I have cloth seats in the Runner and leather in the TL. I love the look of leather, but you have to admit, those things radiate some serious heat in the summertime.

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

I paid $31,800 for a 2006 Sport 4x4 V6 with a few options. It ended up being about $500 over invoice.

    Newbie with a Tire Question

No, they were all 265/65/17. All the SR5s on the lot had the optional 17" wheels.

    Newbie with a Tire Question

Sorry, but I have one last question. I know that most people don't have a high opinion about the Dunlop but I imagine it is all relative. Here is what I mean: for the past 3 years, I've driven an 2003 Acura 3.2 TL with all season Bridgestone Turanzas. I feel like that car was pretty good in...
