    Security system questions

I'm happy to say that I am the proud owner of my second 99 4Runner. The last one (still my avatar) was hit by a drunk driver and totaled, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I was able to "upgrade" to a Limited version with only 55k miles on it. The new Runner has a stock Toyota...

    Water Leak from Moonroof

How do you know if the leak is coming from the moonroof? Is it obvious? I ask because I just discovered I have a pretty bad water leak, but I can't figure out where it's coming from. After 2 days of rain, I have lots of water in the driver side front seat and rear seat floors, but the...

    4wd shifter

It kinda sounds like the light is accurate in telling you when it's engaged or not, but it's hard to tell. You should try to find some way to test it when you think it's engaged but the light isn't on. I've noticed on all the 4x4 vehicles I've owned that you can't turn as sharp when it's...

    1994 SR5 V6...Help me!

Excellent! $2000 is a much better deal. Their engine estimate was awfuly high though, good thing you didn't have them do that. The last time I had an engine rebuilt, it cost a little over $1500.

    Keep leaving back window down!

I had an alarm installed recently and I opted for that. Works pretty good, press aux1 and it goes down, aux2 rolls it up. While I agree that it's obvious when the window is down, I think it's a pain in the ass to have to roll it up inside the vehicle (what if I just want to throw something in...

    New owner questions

I can see the benefit of the light, I just thought it was odd that the button for the passenger window didn't light up even though there is text on it. I find it more odd that the fan speed selector doesn't light up, but my dad says his doesn't either in his Toyota pickup, so I guess it's...

    1994 SR5 V6...Help me!

Doesn't sound too bad. Depending on the rest of the vehicles condition, you *might* be able to get a bit more from a private party, but then you have to deal with the hassle of trying to sell it.

    1994 SR5 V6...Help me!

What about using it as a trade in? I had an engine rebuilt in a Subaru once, and it was pretty expensive. I would generaly only do that if I was going to keep the car for a while longer. You should be able to find a buyer if you put up adds localy and on the internet, the big question would...

    New owner questions

I've seen some people say they increased their psi to 38-40 and they claim better gas milage. Is that safe to do?

    New owner questions

Hi, I'm new here and I'm new to the T4R, so I have a couple questions. I just bought a 99 SR5 and I love it. It was well taken care of and it feels brand new. (I have some pics I took here: http://not.planetranch.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=44 ) I'm sure I'll have more questions later...
