Looking for the stock front 2 skids from a 3rd gen. If you're local we can possibly do a partial trade. I have a rack coverage RAT front skid on the vehicle now. It's awesome, but heavy, and overkill. I'm in NW Arkansas.

Haven't yet hit the first rotation on the Duratracs, won't know wear until then. We're running p metric, 265/70/17. For the Falkens, the longest a single tire made it on the car was 10k mi, and in that 10k, we were down to 9/32. That doesn't seem unreasonable for the type of driving we do.

I think it had something to do w/the defects in manufacturing with the Falkens. With my BFG A/T's I get a howl that increases w/speed. With the Falkens I got the howl (quieter but still present) and a loud thump that would get louder/increase in frequency up to about 65 then it would get drowned...

Wanted to follow up, we put 15,000 miles on the Falkens since I posted above & had nothing but problems. I've sent 5 tires back to Falken after the above post (9 in total if you count the first 4), all with manufacturing defects that weren't apparent upon initial install. Sidewall bulges...

While ideally I'd aim for both a scratch free interior AND not having [potentially] a claymore mine pointed at my front passenger's torso, I'd settle for the latter initially, then work w/the dealer after the fact to fix the scratched interior. But that's just me.
