Just wondering if you ever found a solution? I’ve been dealing with strange electrical issues for about a year and thought I had it all straightened out when randomly my key fobs stopped working. I’ve tried to enter the programming mode and same as you, the locks never cycle.

I had to use a pickle fork and pound it for a good 5-10 minutes to separate the joint.

Wow, I think I'll have to at least get some duct tape on there. I used a pickle fork... I was actually surprised I didn't cause more damage to the boots. Is there a better way to get the joint separated?

We have a great car wash here that has an undercarriage spray that sprays up from ground as you drive in. I usually drive back and forth over it a few times and it seems to work great.
