I did this mod in my rig month a go ( Land Cruiser Prado 96 to 02 same platform as 4Runner 96 to 02 ) with one hose clamp per side and holding up tight!! Cheers

They have same high pinion diff I think. KZJ's 70 to 79 Series are narrower than a 80 Series. Narrower base = narrower axles = better for SAS conversion 3rd gen 4Runners.
