I got them from 4WD parts. Rugged Ridge - Red D-Ring Set | 4WD.com And I got washers to keep them from rattling. Amazon.com: Daystar KU71074RE Red D-Ring/Shackle Washer, (Set of 8): Automotive And to DEERUNNER's point. They definitely look great, the washers force them down into the angle...

    Ko2 275/70 vs stock 265/70

Did you have any balancing issues with the KO2 on those wheels?

Good to know, thanks! I'll keep a tab on the timing.

    Trd pro lift question

Yeah, that's much less. I used to live in Denver 10 years ago, great city. Cost of living is a bit more out here, especially in the area this shop is in. Considering that and that they specialize in custom builds, I figured it would be a bit more than most places. But, that's nearly twice what...

CMilViper's 4Runner TRD PRO Build Progress

Nice ride! I'll have the same setup soon, Toytec lift and 275/70 KO's. I wanted to go 285 but was worried about safety given the stock rims are 7" wide. Seeing this helped me determine 275/70 would look nice! Just curious, what was your reason for going with 275/70?

me4r 2015 TRD Pro Build Thread

Hello! I've had my 2015 4Runner TRD Pro since May '15. I upgraded from a 2013 SR5 Premium, which I started to mod. But, with the cost of everything I wanted to do and with the equity in the SR5, it was actually a better deal to upgrade and get into a new ride with the features I wanted. I waited...

    Trd pro lift question

Thanks everyone for all the info and inspiration, I ordered the Toytec 2" lift and 275/70-17 KO2's. The MTR's were tempting by the look alone, but for performance I think the KO2's will be better. I found a local shop that specializes in custom 4x4 builds, Main Line Overland in West Chester...

    Off-Road Mechanic/Shop in Philadelphia?

Hello, I live in the western burbs of Philadelphia, I'm looking for a mechanic/shop nearby with experience installing lifts and other off-road parts. I'd like to install a 2" Toytec lift and rock sliders on my 2015 TRDPro 4Runner. Any recommendations? Thanks, Mariano

    Northeast Expedition's 2016 TRDPro build

Nice ride! I see you're nearby, I'm out in the western burbs of Philly. I also have a white TRD Pro and will be getting the Toytec lift as well, do you plan on putting it on yourself or do you have a trusted shop in the area? I've been searching for a shop but haven't had any luck in my area...

    Trd pro lift question

Very nice! And same thing, I get many compliments and many stares haha. Toyota did a great job with this one. I was tempted to go with the 285/70-17 BFG KO2 tires as well, but I spoke to a BFG rep and he said it can be a safety issue mounting them on 7" rims. I'm sure they're just protecting...

    Trd pro lift question

Thanks for the quick reply! I think my decision is made on the lift, now just have to figure out the tires. I have about 9K on my 265 Duratracs, so I may wait on new tires for now.

    Trd pro lift question

The Toytec 2" lift looks great on all the TRD Pros! Glad I found this post. A couple of questions: Does it raise the TRD Pro front an additional 2" to 3" total, or is it 2" total including the stock 1" lift? Any rubbing with the lift and 285/70-17 tire combo? I'm leaning towards 275/70-17...
