Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

I drove the truck around to let everything settle in. Still the same measurements as before. Both front coilovers measure 9 1/8 inch (232mm) from the spring seat to the center of the lower mounting bolt. Checked the rear springs, tails next to the bump on the axile side and the flat sides of the...

No to the KDSS. I will go out and double check the measurements, and look for a spring rubber and get bac with you here. Thanks.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

the lean When I got the Dobinson lift, I thought about getting the spacers for the dreaded drivers side lean. I talked myself out of it. Now I wish I hadn't. The truck has about 25k with the lift installed so, I think the springs have settled in by now. It would bother me every time I walked up...

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Swapped out rear springs. Went from a Dobinson C59-701v to the C59-677v. I just did not have the weight for the 701s. Had to disconnect the driver upper trailing arm to get the spring to seat correctly. It was hitting the fuel tank. What a pain in the A$$ getting that reattached. Rides much...

I see you have a Magnuson sticker. How do you like the SC? Did you do the install yourself? I've talked to 4/5 shops in the Davenport/Moline area and none will touch the install.

I know that this post is almost 4 years old, but I'm new to the place. If you still go out to MIOBI hit me up. I'm game for a weekend trip.

    Dobinsons MRA - 3-way adjustable struts/shocks w/resi - 5th Gen

I've read the same thing about spring falling out. I have the c59-354/MRA59-A574s up front, and the c59-701V/MRA59-A701 s in the back. Also got the Upper/Lower trailing arms and Panhard bar. I ordered the 677v the other day, and will give them a try. I did the math and I just don't have enough...

    Dobinsons MRA - 3-way adjustable struts/shocks w/resi - 5th Gen

Thanks for the info. That was what I was thinking for the off-roading. I have been playing with the "normal" driving settings and I think I'm getting close. The rear end is harsh. I don't think I have enough junk in the trunk for the 701s. So I think I need to go down a spring size to the 677v.

How did you like the MRAs out in Moab? Did you play a round with the settings, any recommendations you would like to pass on?

    Dobinsons MRA - 3-way adjustable struts/shocks w/resi - 5th Gen

The upper & Lower rear trailing arms came a few weeks ago. Installed and set pinion angle, and got an alignment. Any up date on settings for these? I started with the Prado 150 settings. Front LSC - 10, HSC - 7, REB - 18 Rear LSC - 5, HSC - 5, REB - 9 Just turned the rebound (front and back)...

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Had a box from Exit Offroad sitting on the porch when I got home. If you have not installed them yet here a few things I ran into installing them. The rear lowers go on easy. The Uppers are a little more involved. I have the C59-701V springs and the MRA59-A701 shock on the rear. Had to take off...

If you ordered them from Mike @ Exit Offroad, they should be on the way. I got a tracking # today for mine.

I looked at it in the garage. Waiting on the Dobinson upper & lower trailing arms. They have been on back order for a little while.
