worth the effort? I was looking for the wire harness connector for the rear hatch and, thank you, I found it. But I don't think all that is worth the effort since the reason I was looking for the information is if I should replace a slightly wrinkled tailgate. I'll take it to a body shop instead.

Strong gas smell when i pull into the garage and shut down the engine. Fuel system is pressurized. It even makes a weird put put sound from the gas cap. Goes away after about half an hour. Thoughts?

New to the forums, here. Does the 4Runner have a harmonic balancer mounted in rubber like an old chevy V8? That might be your problem. The older chevys would sometimes "slip" position and cause a noticeable vibration, in PARK too.

It's not there. 2000 is cable operated. 2002 and 2001 are drive by wire... no cable.

Cruise Control issues I'll be getting a c/c electronic module on friday, but I can't locate the darn thing! There's only one cable to the throttle, it's a 2002 Limited 4x auto. Going back out to look again. Any help?
