Amsoil is the same. They screw in pretty well, but I don't trust it to hold the weight of a full quart, but it is great for letting the emptied one drip in to get every last drop.
Just had a set installed 5 days ago. Balanced with minimal weight and no shimmy/shales.
Got 2 inches of snow last night. Handled it great.
265/70R17s on a basically stock 2008 SR5
I did the KYB Assemblies and just the rear shocks on a 2008 Limited with 170,000 miles. Rides nice and ended up with about a 1.5 in lift up front, leveled it off.
Ordered through Rock Auto and there was a KYB Rebate at the time. Certainly was worth it to keep it pretty stock.
That doesn't look too bad. Pay attention to the front crossmember with the shipping hooks/radiator support. That seems to be the hardest hit on the three I deal with.
The price is high to me. For a 2008 or 2009 sure, but not a 2006.
