Just wanted to give an update in case anyone else has this issue in the future. My shift solenoid 2 was not functioning. Ordered the parts and will update again when I have confirmed this fixed the issue. I will be replacing the three solenoids though

Certainly wouldn’t expect them to tell me what was wrong for free now but at the time I was working at a Toyota dealership in the service department and they said they hadn’t heard of this particular thing before. Unfortunately I quit for a new job before I was able to have them check it out...

Sorry to bring this back but I have the exact same problem and haven’t been able to find anyone else with this problem. Did you ever find out what was wrong? Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated
