I am not sure exactly what the problem was but I unplugged the refrigerator, opened up the doors and let everything thaw and dry out. I then plugged it back in and it has been working fine. Thanks for the assistance!
I basically do what ArthurKotb does and I shop a lot on Rock Auto. I do some part shopping on Amazon but you need to be careful shopping for car parts on Amazon.
I did defrost the fridge since it was a nice day yesterday while I changed out the interior bulbs. The fridge is still not cooling. What is the best way to test the damper and the fan that moves the air?
I should have put that into the original post. It is a side by side Samsung refrigerator model number RS261MDBP. The control is outside by the water/ice dispenser that is not being used. It is not a knob, just bars that go up and down by pressing the button. The sticker says a June 2013...
Back in December when it got below zero here in central Pennsylvania, I didn't realize that there were carbonated waters in the refrigerator in the garage. Since the garage is detached the fridge it got well below freezing and the carbonated waters exploded. Now the refrigerator will not cool...
I installed Akebono ceramic pads on the front and back of my at the time wife's 4runner. They don't seem to have a lot of dust and they stop better than the Raybestos pads I put on my Xterra.
I have been shafted so many times by dealers I do everything myself that I can so I feel your pain. Good mechanics are hard to find. My wife and I found one in Jacksonville but it took a LONG time to find him. Luckily now that we moved to Pennsylvania we use the garage my dad used and he is...
What year is your Xterra? I had one with the exact same color that we just traded in for my wife's Ford Edge. I gladly took her 4runner. I wanted one when I bought the Xterra but the budget did not agree with me.
I love all of these scenic pics. I am hoping my wife and I can do a weekend...
I installed plug n play LED headlight bulbs from a recommendation in the Xterra forum in my Xterra not long after I bought it as the stock halogen headlights were close to worthless. It is well known in the Xterra circles that the stock headlights are bad. I noticed an immediate difference...
If for some reason you are in Jacksonville, FL I can give you the garage we used when we lived there. They were always honest with us when they could have shafted us if they wanted to.
I was hesitant as well b/c the warranty was the same like you said when I needed a battery for my Xterra but ended up getting the AGM from Napa anyway. We traded in the Xterra so I will not know how long the battery lasted. We got my wife an Edge but I got her 4runner.
The manual in my 4runner states every 10k miles. Living in a smaller area we do not put a lot of miles on our vehicles but it is a lot of stop and go driving all year so I change the oil in the fall before winter and again in the spring before summer so every 6 months.
Every spring I change the oil and all the filters here whether they need it or not and last year was our first year in Pennsylvania and I am glad I did it. My Xterra had a nest in the air box and my wife's 4runner had a nest in the blower area at the cabin air filter and another in the airbox...
I just received an LED interior light kit from Amazon based on the suggestion of a thread on this site. It has been cold here for a few days so I haven't had the chance to install the new lights. I installed LED interior and headlight bulbs in my Nissan Xterra shortly after I bought it and I...
