I am sure I am late, but what I bet they are trying to tell you is the ones in your car are rusted and they cannot adjust them. Usually the bolts are rusted in the bushings and you needs bushings too.

Doing a flush ia never a bad decision. If it comes back add a tube of Shudder Fixx. Helps about 98.9% of all similar problems. Doing flush only fixed about 50% of mine. Shudder Fixx did the rest in 5 miles.

What you have us different than rumble strip. Rumble strip is the torque convertor shuddering on lockup. It is only felt and not heard. My 2007 4runet would only do it in d. If I put it in 4th no problem.

There is a pink with blue tracer. Don't jump that to ground. It will disable your air bags. FYI.

Just remember, a salvage title vehicle has $0 value if you try to trade it in at a dealership. Most won't touch them. It wold not bother me, but I think the 30% reduction in value is fair.
