Same Issue I have tried lubing the cable also on my 1997 with no luck. I drove my neighbors 2000 and the gas pedal is night and day difference. Has anyone tried installing a smaller style spring on their throttle? Where is the best place to buy one if it works, also, did it fit right up?

I'm trying to find some 3rd gen 16" 4runner rims. I am located in Baytown Texas, but I'd be willing to drive a little depending on distance. I would even consider shipping depending on shipping cost. II am looking for a clean set if possible.

I have a 18' aluminum boat with a Johnson 115 hp motor. I am currently considering purchasing a 1997 4runner 2 wheel drive and was wandering if the 1997 models have limited slip in the rear? I am worried about the rear tire slipping at the boat ramp while loading and unloading.
