Thanks blackoutt and asdfman7! I knocked off the resonator last night and plan to eventually go for a tip, just not in any real hurry. So wanted to see what others had done, just didn't want to bend or damage the pipe remaining. It's fairly solid for DD, but wouldn't want to do more than...

For those that added an elbow or any sort of tip after cutting it off, did you use the factory mount from the resonator? (still searching but haven't seen that specifically referenced in a thread)

I would also recommend HIDs. They do fairly well in the stock projector housing. I've been running the Volt (xenondepot) kit on my 2006 since I got it and love the color and the output. Just another option.

Don't get me wrong...I'm all for the 4runner and have had a highlander in the past. BUT - the Honda Pilot has a little more usable space in the rear 3rd row. Not sure of actual measurements, but that's what it felt like actually sitting in it.

Does anyone else have any other way of telling? I need to order new rotors for my 06 limited. I have the 18inch wheels. I pulled the tire off tonight, but without pulling the rotor fully off the size was hard to tell.

I get that many people have the issues with dirt, mud, etc from trailing, but anyone had any issues with snow or other winter conditions and the slotted rotors? :smow:

Sun finally came out in Michigan. Had a weird grinding noise and pop when opening the sunroof. :shocked: But was able to "reset" based on this post! Back to sunshine and cruising :music:! Thanks!

Exhaust tips look good! Any discoloring noticed after putting it on? I was just looking at the reviews on Amazon, and that was the only down side. Just curious.

Haven't done it on the 4runner yet, but did it on my explorer. Not much help for the torque question. I would certainly drain out a little bit of the coolant when doing that. Much easier to drain it down some, especially before removing the thermostat, otherwise you'll spray coolant all over...

Metalized Tint Anyone had any issues with metalized tint messing with the in window antenna? Just picked up a white ltd and it needs to be a slightly darker tint and adding some to the front, just trying to figure out what level to take it to and what material! Thanks.
