Loaded up with camping gear and sleeping platform, got an average of 22.3 when on flat ground from Charlotte NC to Kalispell MT. When driving through the mountain passes it went down to about 18.5. Normal city driving is anywhere from 17-19. This is with 4x4 v6 265/70R16 and 4.10 gears

I just did it in my 01. stopped, and in park it will not engage into 4hi, but as soon as i put in in Drive, still stopped, it immediately engaged. 4lo did the same thing, shift to 4lo in N, then when shifting to Drive, it immediately engaged.
