275/70/17 Wildpeaks on stock suspension, will they rub?

I have some rubbing on the mud flaps with 17x8.5 0 offset 265/70 on my ORP KDSS, even after massaging them with heat. I also had to push the front fender liner and cut the bumper a bit too. You will rub for sure with 275s on a limited and no lift.

Slightly different size tires with a locking rear end?

It’s an open diff until you lock it so as long as it’s a TRD off road/TRD pro and you leave it in rear wheel drive and don’t drive too fast you shouldn’t damage anything. Don’t engage 4x4 obviously. What are the respective sizes? If it was my truck however I’d pay for a tow truck to the nearest...

TRD Pro Grille (20-21) in Canada ?

Guys $409 is THE GRILLE MESH ONLY and does not include the garnish (the trim you stick on that says Toyota). Click on the “garnish” button next to the “grille” button. That part is another $790, for a total of $1,199.00 plus taxes plus shipping. You need both parts. I priced it out, with a 15%...

TRD Pro Grille (20-21) in Canada ?

I bought my OEM 20-21 pro grille on eBay from an American dealer and it added up to about $700 total. Fitment is perfect and parts are excellent quality, I’d highly recommend spending the extra couple hundred $ and get the OEM grille and garnish. Lots of reports of aftermarket stuff not fitting...

    Quietest AT Tires?

Have any more pics of these? Curious to see how they look on the truck.

Planning on 5th gen ‘22 4r. Though this guy just made think about waiting!!

Just curious, how exactly is the new land cruiser less off-road capable than the 200 series? Legitimate question as I’ve watched a few videos here and there and it didn’t look too different from its predecessor.

Trail Edition or TRD Pro..need advice!

Absolutely true. I live in Canada and wish my TRDORP had the limited’s AWD setup but paired with the crawl/mts and rear locker TRDOR setup.

Trail Edition or TRD Pro..need advice!

Unless you want a special PRO color or money is no object, get the TRD OFF ROAD. I’d go for premium to get softex and smart key system (2020+). 2021s have LED headlights and fog lights which are FAR superior to the halogens of the 2020 and previous model years. Here’s the breakdown of the...

FS: 5th Gen Front Runner Slimline II 3/4 Roof Rack - $1350 CAD - Ottawa, ON, CANADA

Front Runner Slimline II 3/4 length Roof Rack, like new, includes everything it came with from Front Runner. Installed for about a month, but selling as I will likely be Trading in my TRDORP in the next few months for a Pro. I will also include a new tube of 3M automotive silicone (I bought 2...

Need insight on tire rubbing 265/70x17

Generally speaking if you’re rubbing in reverse you’re rubbing on the front bumper and fender liner, if you’re rubbing driving forwards turning at full lock it’s the mud flap or body mount in more extreme cases. I have 17x8.5 0 offset wheels with the P265 Wildpeak, no lift and I had to trim the...

    KO2 vs. wet pavement

I agree to a certain extent, but you would see the same kind of polarization with other AT tires if was just driving style, but this even split isn't as common with other ATs like the Falken Wildpeak, General Grabber ATX, Toyo Open Country AT3, Cooper Discovery AT3 4s etc, these have very few...

    KO2 vs. wet pavement

K02 wet traction discussions/owner reviews on the internet are THE most bizarre discussions related to a product I've ever seen. It's astounding to me that about 50% of people who own/have owned K02s have NEVER experienced any wet traction issues and swear by them, and the other 50% are...

    Cooper Rugged Trek

Interesting tire but at 45lbs they’re actually heavier than the Wildpeak in SL(which I’ve measured at 44.5lbs on a scale) and they’re still much heavier than the grabber ATX (listed at just under 41lbs). I have an almost new set of Wildpeaks in 265 SL and absolutely love everything about them...
