    TRD Pro or Trail Premium?

Exactly! I started looking around for a used 4Runner but clean ones are hard to find. I ended up with a 2014 TE Premium because it was on the dealer's lot and I wanted it now. I didn't want spend the time searching, I wanted to spend the time wheeling. mikefj40 '14 T4R TE Premium "Bunky"

2012 4runner Rear Bumper Fix for Dogs

I just put in some budbuilt rock sliders. They are angled up and slippery when wet. I can just see my dog breaking a nail or even breaking a leg (100 lbs of golden retriever. He's 8 and not jumping any higher). I think a ramp is the way to go. Especially after a 3" lift.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Installed RCI Metalworks skid plates and Budbuilt rock sliders. Pretty smooth installation. It's a one banana job for this wrench monkey. More Beef ‎

    Window Trim Rot

If you mean streaks of black gummy crap on the inside of your window, I'd like to know more. I just noticed it yesterday on my 2014 TE. So far just one window... mikefj40 '14 TE Premium "Bunky" Read my blog: Operation Windmills ? A Quixotic journey

How far have you pushed your stock tires?

Ahh, Dunflops. I tried to get the dealer to swap them out for some ATs but they refused. I guess they just wanted the Dunflops off the lot (along with my '14 TE Premium). After 2 flats in the first 6000 miles I'm pretty sure the Dunflops are not something I want to live with very much longer...

Just to say hi and get some thoughts...

Be aware of the way your front end geometry changes with bigger lifts (3" or so). There are some threads here that suggest you won't be able to dial in a proper castor and camber after the lift. UNLESS you install new UCAs like the ones from Light Racing. Icon makes a similar product. The new...

Necessary modifications to make a 5th Gen overland ready.

Years ago I couldn't afford a winch so I acquired a come a long. It saved my butt a few times in the jungles of southern Mexico and Central America. One day we found ourselves up to the hubcaps on the way to Bonampak. The come a long was no use. After an hour or so a crowd of locals gathered...
