For me: Jeep - As much as I would like to have a Jeep Wrangler, reliability makes them a non-starter (pun intended) for me. Putting all of the windows down, including the back window, is what my daughter now calls "Jeep mode"... Close enough for me. FJ - Wanted one ever since they came out...

On the front skid plate question, I have the CBI skids on mine. Easy to install and I really like the two access panels for the oil drain and oil filter. It's KDSS compatible. RSG also has a nice looking front skid plate, but I have no experience with it.

Exterior colors are fine for me, but I'd like to see a grey or tan interior in the TRD OR trim models. Black just shows everything...

Keeping the stock head unit and replacing the front door/dash and rear door speakers with the FOCAL Toyota drop-in replacements made a huge difference for me in my 2018.

The Slee Sliders required me to make one (I think) existing bottom frame hole on the passenger side a little bigger, but I think that was about it.

Yes, chose my silver 2018. Had an identical red one offered at a lower price and stuck with silver. For me, silver strikes a good balance of not showing dust, dirt, mag-chloride as much as other colors... At least out here in Colorado...

It's interesting that the K02s solved your problem. Mine was just the opposite. The 4Runner was rock-solid with the factory Dunlops. It was the change to the K02s that caused the 55-65 steering vibration. My wheels and suspention are all stock. I just had them balanced for the 3rd time...

I have the SpiderTrax spacers installed on stock wheels and tire size with a little rub at full lock. Does anyone know if a leveling spacer on the front suspension will eliminate the rub without having to grind away the bumper ?

I use Apple Maps or Wave for navigation in "civilized" areas, but for anything out in the mountains and/or off-pavement +100 for paper maps.

Shouldn't be a problem. That's exactly what I did when I put the PRO-style garnish on my Off-Road model.
