I think you have a bad connection or corroded line from the top of the fuel tank to the fuel pump. You have to drop the tank to get access to the corroded line.

Check transmission temperature sensor, maybe bad connection, and do an ohm test

is it normal for a charcoal canister to make noise after driving the 4runner around. it makes noise right after i turn off the engine. it would make noise for about 2 minute or so than it would go away. is that ok or do i needed to change it out, or am i'm wrong and it is coming from...

1) You will NOT get the crankshaft pulley bolt off without a special tool to hold the crankshaft/pulley. My brother welded me one up with his mig welder and it saved the day. Toyota has a special part for this but I wasn't going to waste $80 or whatever it was for something I would rarely use...

i think after you have it welded. clean all the weld spot and the repair metal with rust remover. afterward, get the truck spray with undercoated. that should take care of all rust from coming back. the undercoat is like the stuff you spray on your truck bed, i think it is car rinno spray.

i think the suspension is stock, the truck has about 187000 miles on it. there is no lift on the shock. i don't think they have ever changed the shock . if i needed to change the shock what brand do i go with. i want the one that get me the best smooth ride.
