That is low miles for a 95 does he have any kind of records to back up such low miles.
The biggest problem with the 2nd gen. V6 is the Head gasket recall make sure it was done.
there is also a relay rod recall see if that was done.
the 3.0L does not get the best MPG I average about 17MPG...
:awais: True....are you sure the leak is some how from the vapor canister, the fuel lines run up the passenger side of the truck.

Search "power antenna fix" in classic I did a write up on it.
If the mast broke off the plastic zipper teeth are down in the motor and you will need a new antenna mast, and have to open up the motor to get the old teeth out.
see the "fix" it should answer your questions.

It is in the overdrive, all the 3.0L auto are like this. when cold untill they warm up they will not shift into overdrive.
Mine does it too...not as bad as yours the way it sounds yours never shift out? even after it warms up?
Mike
It is some wrenching to get to it. have you been in there before?
If so I don't have to tell you about it.....if not there is a whole host of stuff to replace while in there.
Let me know.
Mike
They are easy to replace yourself, if you have basic skills.
they are like $65 each with the core(old ones) and about 1hr of your time.
Btw these are comman to go up. I replaced my passenger side last winter and the drivers the year before.
Mike
Are you sure it is not the power steering pump leaking they are known for it and is right above the AC pump. mine does and will be replaced in the spring.
