I want to do the same thing. I'd also like it so I could have BOTH. One in the glove box for my iPod and one in the centerstack so I can charge my phone.

I'm just used to it from previous vehicles. This way if I unlock all the doors for someone to get in and say I need to move forward or back a little then its like OOOPS The person is all UNLOCK THE DOOR!!!!
