Same thing here in my 99. Sometimes it will work, other times it won't. No real rhyme or reason to it that I can see. Maybe a loose connection inside the door. The impact of closing it might move it in just a way to not work sometimes. :confused:

I use XM and I try not to pay attention people who come up on my rear, tailgate a little, then swerve around to pass. I'm pretty good at reading lips and I've been called many variations of "f@#$% _______" fill in the blank.

It would be the gear oil for the rear axle that is leaking. You can just run your finger around the inside of your rims and feel it. My guess is if it is that and mucking up your brakes, it definately would be on your rims too. It will look either shiny if it's recent or caked up with dirt if...
