I will second that. I just had my SPC control arms and 6112's installed by Phil at Smooth Rides 2 weeks ago. My 2nd time there. He's very honest and they are good, and being next to Toytec, they know our vehicles very well. Very good, not a single complaint.

Almost positive it's ball joints, I just went through that. As soon as I installed my SPC upper control arms, sound and clunking and popping, gone.

I will have the exact same setup in a few days. I also have the 6112's on top notch, currently with 5100's and superflex rears. I ordered my Icons 2.0 a few days ago. So do you feel satisfied that you don't need to change shocks/springs anymore? I'm hoping this is it.

correct. currently running 5100's rear. I'm trying to change that very soon. Going to Icon 2.0. Just read enough on a few forums about 5160's not being that much different than the 5100's. I realize the heat and extra oil factor, but like someone else said, I feel I didn't get good advice...

Same here. With my 6112's on now, all I can think of is how bad the 5100's in the rear with my superflexes feel. I already knew the rear setup needed to be redone, but after putting on the 6112's, it stands out bad. I hit bumps on the highways here doing 65mph, and the rear seems to jump and...

Finally installed. Top notch, almost leveled it out perfect, maybe 1/2" rake, w rear 5100's and superflex. Love the ride. I tried to hit every pot hole and bump and rough road in sight today, since I can't get off road until this weekend.

What year and engine? I'm getting mine done tomorrow and also have superflexes. I have an '05 v6, and was thinking on going top notch, maybe not now.

I only live 10 min from CVJ axles. After visiting and talking to Steve, I ordered mine. Very good people and customer service. Got to pick up old ones and compare in their shop. Sold me on the craftsmanship, and reuse of Toyota steel. Very solid product, got the silicone boot. Got mine...

I see your point that mag chloride has some corrosive properties to certain car parts (brakes and wire harnesses), but not close to salt. If that was the case, we'd have rust proofing companies sprouting up. CO state regulations require mag chloride to be 70% less corrosive than rock salt.

There's no rust here in CO to speak of really. And I'm not aware of anywhere here that uses salt. Rust should be the least of your worries, unless it originated from out of state or back east.
